Fleuren & Nooijen BV has over 25 years of experience in developing and constructing aquatic research facilities.
Our philosophy is that we design aquatic research facilities together with the client for a custom solution. We want to fulfill your exact needs and create an ergonomic design. Our university background and experience in fish research and conventional fish farming helps us in creating durable and easy to work with systems. You can rely on us to for your custom system, made in-house by our team of skilled craftsmen. Most of our systems are based on the recirculation principle with biological water treatment.
In most cases the customers chooses for a fresh water or salt water recirculation system. However, we also design and construct aquatic research facilities like flow through systems and individual recirculation units.
Fleuren & Nooijen BV has designed and constructed aquatic research facilities for many species, e.g. zebrafish, xenopus, carp, African catfish, African cichlids, tilapia, shrimps, brin shrimp, turbot, eal, sturgeon, algea, fathead minnow, seabream and trout.
MAINTENANCE, UPGRADES AND RELOCATING of Aquatic research facilities
A well maintained aquatic research facility will result in stable conditions with minimal downtime through breakdowns. We take care of routine maintenance, upgrades and training of animal caretakers. It is often also possible to adjust or maintain aquatic research facilities of other manufacturers by us. We can also adapt our existing aquatic research facilities to new research setups or relocate the aquatic research facility to other research areas or locations.
SUPPLIES AND CONSUMABLES
We supply consumables for our aquatic research facilities, spare parts for pumps and water control computers, brine shrimp and cleaning products. Next to that we supply fish tanks and other customized products. It is possible to have your own aquatic research facility design constructed in our workshop.
